Oh man, I'm kind of torn on the TG one, but I think I'd have something like this: In the war-torn aftermath of nuclear war, heavily fortified city-states spring up, taking the world back to the middle ages. Jeremy leads such a city and seems perfectly happy to build it on the backs of those less fortunate, sending well-trained troops out to attack less fortified areas to clear out competition. In one such strike, his troops capture Prince James, and bring him back to the city. Jeremy and James get to know each other and James slowly gets Jeremy to see some of the error of his ways. Richard is the "messenger" who comes to bargain for James' return, though he is eventually revealed to be James' longtime companion when he attempts to break James out and James must beg Jeremy to spare him.

As for the monaboyd, I'd already had a 50s America AU where Dom was in LA, waiting at Googie's, which was a popular place for the young Hollywood set to come. It was a Dom/James Dean thing that I never ended up writing, but I'd use the same idea here. Dom works at Googie's while attempting to get some acting chops. Billy and his cousin come over to L.A. on a vacation and go into Googie's, hoping to see Jimmy Dean or Sal Mineo. Instead, they meet Dom who is serving them. Billy is enchanted and invites Dom to coffee/lunch pretty much every day they are in town. They have a torrid affair before Billy has to head back home, and then Dom has a decision to make - stay a Hollywood hopeful or head back to the U.K. and make a life with Billy.

TG: THIS! In the warn-torn aftermath of nuclear war... I hear Don LaFontaine saying this in my head. I like the plot and there's room for some nice angst, h/c and redemption here.

I'm completely enchanted by this idea. Completely different than what I'd have imagined. I never would have thought of incorporating lotrips into 1950 Hollywood. I can see Dom now, leaning his hip into the edge of the burger joint's counter top, clad in a leather jacket, coming his pompadour all smooth-like. ;)

Ahaha, monaboyd TB AU goes a little something like this: Dom is a struggling actor in Manchester who supports himself as a waiter while constantly auditioning for roles. Because he's telepathic, he always knows he is or isn't getting the part that day. He also knows whether he's gonna get laid or not and whether or not his partners are really into him. One day, vampire Bill strides into his bar and changes Dom's life in every conceivable way. Not only can Don NOT hear Bill's thoughts, he brings with him introductions to tall, brooding vamp Sean Bean and Bean's constant companion Miranda as well as Bean's maker, Viggo, a mysterious and ancient vampire who scares the fuck out of Dom, no lie. =D
